The Turin newspaper La Stampa recently published the annual survey by PwC Italia, which offers a detailed and exhaustive overview of the Italian economic system and, in particular, of the Turin area, drawing up a ranking of the "top 500" of the 2021 year.
The top of the ranking confirms the Piedmontese transport "giants" such as FCA Italy (national branch of the Stellantis group) and Iveco, respectively first and second, followed by Vodafone Italia in third position.
The Coral Group records a further improvement compared to the previous year, in which the holding companies withstood the impact of the Covid-19 on the business. They climb nine positions, from 142nd in 2020 to 133rd in 2021, with a production value that has exceeded the pre-pandemic glories, with an increase in production value of over 116 million euros (a growth of 29% compared to 2020) and with a profit that keeps the same pace, settling at 8 million euros.
Excellent news also on the net liquidity front, which doubled further compared to the previous year.
Therefore, there's a more solid foundation for a new investment plan that will lead the Coral Group to make the definitive breakthrough towards opening up to emerging markets (Africa and the Far East first).
