Coral Group has once again been confirmed as one of the most solid and dynamic companies in Piedmont, earning a place in the ‘Top 500’ ranking compiled by PwC Italy and the University of Turin. The research, published in the Italian daily newspaper La Stampa on 14 May 2025, analyses the economic and financial performance of the leading companies in Turin and its province, highlighting the ability of local businesses to adapt and grow in a global context marked by economic and geopolitical uncertainty.
After the significant leap forward already recorded in 2021, when Coral Group rose from 142nd to 133rd position with a 29% increase in production value, the company has maintained a solid and steady growth trajectory, this time ranking 126th. However, if we were to exclude from the ranking those companies that, for various reasons, failed to create real value for the region during the period in question (i.e. those with a loss-making income statement), the position would be 101st. This result testifies to the effectiveness of the strategies adopted by the Group, focused on innovation, sustainability and internationalisation.
The seventh edition of the “Top 500” research highlighted how Piedmontese companies have successfully tackled the challenges of recent years, including market volatility, rising energy costs and geopolitical tensions. The total production value of the companies analysed exceeded €156 billion, an increase of 10% compared to the previous year, with a workforce of nearly 350,000, also up (+4.2%). In this context, Coral Group has taken a further step forward, exceeding 13% in production value.
Coral Group's confirmation in the “Top 500” ranking is a further incentive for Coral Group to continue on its path of growth and innovation. The group intends to strengthen its presence in emerging markets, with a particular focus on Africa and South-East Asia, and to continue to propose and disseminate advanced and sustainable technologies for the protection of the environment and public health.
