After the PriceWaterhouseCoopers dossier in which it was listed among the top 500 in Piedmont, the Coral Group confirms its presence among the most virtuous companies also at national level. The publication of a special report in the national daily Corriere della Sera, Italy's leading newspaper in terms of circulation and readership, on the 'Magnificent 800', the Italian companies with the greatest growth potential.
The Coral Group, which was already in the ranking in 2021, is in a lower position than last year, but this should not be misleading: despite the slight decrease in turnover in 2020 compared to 2019, due to the impact of Covid-19 on the Italian entrepreneurial system, the Coral Group's rating is projected higher, going from BBB to A.
The substantial decrease in net debt, which generated a 40-fold increase in liquidity compared to the 2019 financial year, is the main factor contributing to the improved rating. However, one must also take into account the positive sign of all the other data considered, from the increase in the workforce employed by the Group to the return on capital, from profit to equity.
This further step forward by the Coral Group confirms a progression that has been going on for several years now: suffice it to say that in little more than a five-year period, the company's turnover has increased by more than 70%.
While waiting for the new figures for the year that has ended, the Group's strategy confirms what was planned at the beginning of 2022: the creation of opportunities with the new sites (one in the United States, one in Great Britain and one in Germany) and a policy increasingly aimed at spreading a 'new industrial consciousness' based on sustainability, energy saving and the protection of both the environment and the health of workers.
